Ron Slavick

Goalie Training

Ron was born and raised just south of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He started playing hockey in Pennsylvania until the game ultimately brought him to Michigan. Eventually, Ron established his roots and began to call Michigan his home.

After his hockey career ended, Ron attended Rutgers University. During this time, he began coaching goalies to remain connected to the game and position he loved. In 2013, Ron started Unique Breed Goaltending offering different methods and principles of training to goalies of all ages and skill levels. In addition to owning/operating Unique Breed Goaltending, Ron is also Little Caesars AAA Hockey Director of Goaltending, Rolston Hockey Academy Director of Goaltending, co-owner and Director of Goaltending for No Nights Off Hockey, Goaltending Coach at Cranbrook Kingswood, Goaltending advisor to the MDHL, as well as the personal goalie coach for many goaltenders.

With over 30+ years of playing and coaching, Ron brings knowledge and experience to the program and strives to make this already premier destination for all hockey players across North America better than it already is with his sole emphasis being that of the premier hockey players that stand between the pipes.
